Vegan McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish

You’re in for a treat! We’ve veganized the classic McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish and you won’t believe how delicious it is, and the texture is perfect. Our version features a savory plant-based patty that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and all the classic fixings, without any of the animal products!


???? 1 Pack of Omni Golden Filets
 ???? 3 Buns
????  3 slices of vegan cheddar

For pickled shallots:
???? 1 shallot
???? 1/2 cup vinegar
 ???? tbsp pickling spices

For Tartar sauce:

????1/2 cup vegan mayo

???? Zest and juice of a lemon

???? 1 big pickle

????1 tbsp capers

????Salt to taste


:one: Cut shallots and place them in a jar. Fill it with white vinegar, sliced shallots, and pickling spices. Mix well and place in the fridge.

:two: For the tartar sauce, mix the vegan mayo with a zest of a lemon. Top it with lemon juice. Slice the pickle into small cubes. Add capers and salt. Mix well and set aside.

:three: For the fish follow the package instructions, and make it in the oven or a pan. Meanwhile, Grill the buns from the inside and place 1 slice of cheese on each bottom part of a bun. Top it with fish fillet, tartar sauce, and shallot pickles. Close the bun and serve immediately. Enjoy :kissing_heart::ok_hand:
